The Middleton Equestrian Center, located adjacent to the Middleton Place National Historic Landmark in Charleston, South Carolina, offers a multitude of opportunities for the horse enthusiast and nature lovers alike.
Riders are treated to an hour tour of the woodlands, riverbank and the rice fields of one of South Carolina's most dramatic landscaped. Alligators, marsh birds, eagles and deer are some of the wildlife that riders often encounter. All experience levels welcome.
Home of the Middleton Hunt, the rider will enjoy trails 6,000 acres of both wooded and open terrain. Horseback trail rides and lessons for both youth and adults of all skill levels are available. Numerous pastures and 47 stalls serve both resident and overnight boarders.
